I gasped out-loud when I read the word "body." Excellent job. What will happen to the fish pond and the wishes now though? No more wishes...?

I dont really know what to say. I loved this little short story it was very bittersweet. In all the right ways. It was beautifully written and flowed like a river from the page (Or, screen in this case)

It is something everyone can relate to, being willing to give up anything to get something you want more than the world is a very common subject to write about. But, you managed to make it not a cliche.

once again, this is beautiful, and thank you for sharing it.

When it comes to fish-granting fish, many cultures got it covered, especially the eastern Europeans with their golden fish. When I started reading the story I admit I was a bit skeptical about where it would go, but you did such a great job in building the tension that the ending was something I hadn't expected at all. The main success was how you started with the simpler, more familiar things, like wanting a Barbie Dream House, and then built up onto it, as well as increasing the seriousness of what was being offered to the fish. I can't say I completely understood what happened at the end, but I like how open ended it was that I can fill in the blanks and imagine the rest myself easily. I love stories like this, they're little bite-sized wonders that are always refreshing to read!
